Not the old 560
These are not the same pattern of 560 that was available 10 years ago. I have two pairs of 560's I bought about 10 years ago, but wasn't able to wear. Now I'm able to fit in them and they are very different from the new 560's. The legs are wider and longer now. The legs of the new 560 match up to the 550 style ones I have. Basically 550 jeans with 560 labels. Attached pic shows 10 year old black 560 compared to new blue 560. Both have the same size on the label. At least the three I ordered are all the same size. Usually they are different lengths. You can feel the lighter weight material on the new ones.I've always worn Levi's. Now may have to find another brand.

An excellent pair of jeans, barring some quality control issues
These are a great pair of jeans. If you are looking for a jean to wear while cleaning around the house, doing yard work, going to a BBQ, or going out someplace casual, this is the style for you. I am a fan of the 560 Comfort Fit jeans; they don't hang baggy but are still loose everywhere you would want while still having a hint of the cling you expect from jeans. They are not slim fit or tapered, which are both styles I don't understand the appeal of, but instead just look like classic jeans. The color stays true despite multiple washes, the zipper and button are attached well, and the belt loops are reasonably well attached. My only minor complaint is that the quality control on these jeans seems a bit uneven. I've had pairs that were tough and lasted a while and other pairs that wore through the fabric quickly or had the belt loops tear too easily.Assuming you get a pair that met the correct quality control standards, these are great jeans that most adult men are going to find comfortable and versatile.

However to my delight, amazon sent me a message relaying they are ...
I have been trying to get the 560 in a lighter more worn in looking color instead of the dark blue color for months now, figured it wasn’t being made w/ the lighter color of jeans material any more due to “fashion” trend. However to my delight, amazon sent me a message relaying they are available again, in the 560 series. Only difference is it has some stretch in the fabric and is more light weight than the standard jeans material. So that was a surprise as I do rather like the weight of the jeans compared to my many old pairs of 560’s. Especially for the warmer weather. So thoroughly enjoy them, and the levi’s 560’s have been my favorite jeans for many many years, n hope that they don’t stop making them in the lighter, more worn in color.

Levis has a problem ... the quality recipe has been lost!
Levis used to be the only Jeans I bought however due to continuous quality issues, which ironically seem to occur within a couple of weeks after the Amazon return period is over. I have Levis jeans in my closet that are 10+ years old and although the dye has worn and have some minor wear, they are still wearable and I love them. My issue with jeans made in the past couple of years, is that the one or more belt loops pull out from the material at one end of the loop - see attached photo - this belt loop pulled out completely within a day. Recently sent to Levis 3 pairs of jeans that have this anomaly - which was the maximum number of Jeans that they would accept through the warranty program - even thought I mention having 6 pairs of jeans with the same issue. After 6 weeks, I received 3 replacement jeans from Levi, however within 3 weeks the jeans that they sent to me had the same failure. Icing on the cake ...I'm now through with Levis - bought several pairs of Cinch jeans which I am thrilled with.

Status of the Levi's 560 Style Jeans
I did receive my order of two pairs of the 560 style. Strangely, they were ship from Spain. Whatever inventory they need from which to fulfill the order is fine by me. They seem a little long, but should shrink in length a little more with a few more wash cycles. Overall, they are still the 560 jeans I enjoy wearing. Just hope the belt loops stay intact.I contacted Mr. Chip Bergh CEO of Levi Strauss & Co., and he was kind enough to reply to me. Mr. Bergh referred me to his head of Customer Service, Paul Osborne. He has taken the time to explain the status of the 560 style jeans. The company has not decided whether or not to discontinue the style as of this moment. He went on to explain that they are considering to discontinue only the SALE of 560 on their Levi.com website. With the intermittent out of stock inventories along with fashion trend changes, people are getting the idea that the style was discontinued. Also, some Levi's employees and others have misunderstood the product's status and were too quick to incorrectly state the style is discontinued. If you guys want the style to stay in production as I do, contact Levi's Customer Service. I took the time to contact the CEO and the head of Customer Service. Don't just type feedback on a retailers site. Also, be sure to let them know about quality issues. That feedback on quality is important when it goes directly to them. I believe you can upload photos of your quality issues on the Contact Us page web form at Levi.com.Be heard, Folks.

Need better quality material, especially pockets.
My husband will only wear this kind of jean and has to be Levi’s. But, this past year the quality in the material is just not as it used to be. His wallet wears through after a couple of months. I just got rid of 5 pairs with that problem. Weren’t even worn more than six months. Tried putting iron on tape inside the pockets at worn through area, but it comes loose. I have since bought him a wallet that zips and hoping that it was his wallet doing the damage. We’ll see. It never happened in the last 35 years or wearing Levi’s , but have to try something. I’m just not into replacing pockets by sewing at my age anymore. They are expensive to just wear for 6 months, with 6 other pairs he rotates wearing. Please try to buy better quality jean material, and don’t stone wash them all before making them. I really don’t consider Levi’s to be a throw away item after 6 months. A few years maybe, or at least.

As an overweight (or undertall) bloke I sometimes struggle to find clothes that fit. These are great quality and fit really well.

Total mess with sizing
Love 560s. Roomy, baggy, comfortable. However, Levi's clearly got a serious sizing-consistency problem... to the point that I personally gave up buying Levi's online anymore. Long story short. Bought 3 Levi's online in succession (a stupid idea in hindsight). 34L, 34L, 32L. 2nd is 3.5 cm longer than the first. 3rd is 13.5 cm (yes, 5.3 inches!) shorter than 2nd... when I anticipated 5cm (2inches) difference. Same mess with waist sizes... Probably not such an issue with skinny stretchy jeans but a deal-breaker with proper ones.
