Creator 31010 Treehouse

What a fun and creative building set! This was purchased as a gift for a four year old boy's birthday and he absolutely loved it. He has lots of legos already, but this set was a great addition to his collection. This set definitely inspires the mind as it can be built at least three different ways. It has lots of fun little extras like the ladder that lifts up and the trap door that can be sealed. It just has lots of fun little elements. It comes with complete instructions for building it all 3 ways and provides hours of brain-stimulating fun for children in a wide range of ages. I would recommend this building set for anyone who likes legos whether they have lots of sets already or are just starting out. A young child will need help building the sets so it makes a great one on one activity to do with you child. I am pleased with the quality, the price, and the overall value of this lego set.

I got this Lego Creator Treehouse set for my six year old and she really love it. I did help her along the way as the there are many tiny pieces which some little ones may not be able to hold tight and snap into the right places. This set is great for a weekend to spend time together building it. The instructions are very clear and laid out step by step.I would say at a mellow relaxed pace this set takes a good hour from start to finish with you helping your little one. I can also imagine this toy being fun even for much older kids if they are fans of Lego sets.With the included pieces you can build three distinct houses: a treehouse, a garage, or a regular house with the included directions. However, it is up to your own imagination to build even more different variations. Excellent set.

My son got a bunch of Lego stuff for his fourth birthday as he is "really into Lego's". This was the first set he wanted to put together out of his birthday stash. It was really fun to build and he loved that it was easy to visualize what he was building in the set as brown pieces tended to be tree, green grass, blue water, white house, red roof, etc. unlike a lot of other sets where you have to really build for a while to get an idea of what it will turn into. I love that these sets can be rebuild, I'm just not sure that will ever happen in our home... it's not like he is going to agree to take his house apart! My only complaint with this set is the size. The actual space in the houses it builds if very tiny in comparison to other Lego sets we have. Plus it really should have come with a boat. We improvised one, but a boat house without a boat seems odd. Cute set though with lots of fun details. Now if I could only get my son to play with the Lego sets after he builds them...

This is a pretty good LEGO set:PLEASE NOTE, this set is retired from LEGO, which means you can no longer purchase it at the store. This also means you'll pay a premium to get this set now as it's only available on the secondary market. The retail price for this set was $29.99, which was a decent price when considering how many LEGO bricks came with the set.This is a creator series 3in1 set, which I'm a big fan of as these sets allow you to build three different structures with the same set of LEGO bricks. These types of sets also allow for a lot of creativity and imagination, which is an added bonus.Check out my pictures to get a better look at how this LEGO set could look in your LEGO city/setup.Overall, if you are able to find this set for a reasonable price (not too much over the retail price), then it may be a worthwhile set to purchase. Having said that, you may also decide to wait because it's likely that LEGO will come out with an updated version in the next year or two. I bought this kit for my 5-yr old son, who is very much into Lego. This kit is very cute and he enjoys making up stories with the Lego characters he's collected so far. We usually follow the instructions for setting up a particular model, but then my son will normally "enhance" or make some minor adjustments, which I really love to watch. I think Lego helps develop critical thinking skills, so I am happy my son plays with it. The instructions are relatively easy for a 5-yr old to follow with a little help from an adult.

Fantastic set. I love the creator line for their versatility. I remember old Lego products having 'alternate' configurations in photos on the box/instructions, but no instructions on building those variations.This set comes with instructions for all three models. The pieces are bagged into several groups to make sorting easier. I find the models all to be great to play with, though I've left mine in the treehouse configuration. There are a nice variety of parts and building techniques to keep the builder interested throughout.

I can believe that this is one of the most popular LEGO sets available today. There is a palpable sense of fun before you even open the box, and anyone who ever had or played in a treehouse will appreciate the nostalgia of this set. It's charming, creative, wonderfully designed, and very easy to blend with other similar creator sets. I built the barn version of this and added it to the Mountain Hut, which worked perfectly! The price and pieces are great for building for fun or with your child.
