These nippers are by far the best nippers out there. I tried all types from Home Depot and Lowe’s and had to return them all due to them breaking before my small tile project was even complete. I seen these on YouTube used by a woman claiming they were one of the best she has used. I love it! The handle is easy to hold and grip. You don’t have to apply much pressure when nipping the tiles. They nip easily. I recommend this tool over all the ones at the local store! Best investment

Making mosaics for a school project. I’ve never had a favorite tool but now I do. Keep in mind these take only small bites. First I broke the 6” square tiles with a hammer blow or two then used these tile nippers to break into more deliberate, smaller pieces. I have wrist and hand problems and these do not hurt my hands at all!!

These nippers work great and are easy on your hands- if you know what you're doing. They aren't meant to take 1/2" off at a time- nippers aren't in general. I've now used these on both ceramic (12x12" tile) and resin (3/4" mosaic) and they worked great. The mosaic tile was 1/4" off on total height from what I needed so I ended up nipping an entire row of 3/4" mosaic resin tile around the kitchen down to fill the gap. They work great on larger ceramic tile as well, but as with any nipper you can crack the tile if you take too much off at once. My only complaint is that the latch for them tends to slip and get in the way, impeding progress when you can't open them up without flipping it. It's easily removed though and I recommend doing just that.

They are large tile nippers so if you have small/medium sized hands, they may be a bit awkward to handle. For the price, you can't complain about the quality. The quality is great for a homeowner with a DIY tile project. They may not be suitable for a professional tiler with heavy use. Tile nipping takes some practice so it takes some time to get the hang of it. Start with small nips.

The compound action does appear to make this work better than usual. and the padded grips are a nice touch. You can't tell from the picture that the handles have a spring to automatically reopen them, but they do - and it works fine. Breaking tiles is not easy on the hands, manually reopening a nipper is a pain, and my hands aren't young, so I like all the features on this well-designed nipper. It's now one of my two favorite tile nippers. It will replace several other nippers that I already had. Better made than I expected for the price.

These came in handy for cutting off small chips of tile. The handle is rubbery, comfortable to hold, and long enough to provide leverage for cutting. It's not hard to make small tile cuts even for someone like me who is not that strong. The one annoying flaw I found was that if you have a tiny chunk of tile that you need to knick off, they don't squeeze together far enough to cut it. I had to use a wet saw several times to grind off tiny chunks of tile. I wonder if this "flaw" is a actually a safety feature designed to protect you from accidentally cutting through your skin -- ??

I have tried every tile nipper out there, including one's 3x the price. This is by far the best. You hardly need any pressure. Cuts are super-straight, but I haven't seen a nipper that could do that. Does have a tendency to crack the tile, but if you squeeze slowly and it's not cutting, you're probably going to get a crack. If you squeeze slowly and it just cuts without effort, you get a nice result. Excellent product for the price.

This Tile Clipper is a great tool for mosaic, I just love it and it makes clipping very easy
