This origami paper is intended for kids or beginners. I bought it for my kids to practice and play with. We had a fantastic time with it and I'm really happy that I opted for this cheaper version rather than pay for the more expensive stuff. You get far more paper in this package, so kids can practice with it and use several sheets without making you worry. It comes with several different colors, which both my kids and I were happy with. Great for classrooms or group art projects.

I used this to teach a fourth grade class some origami. Beautiful colors and easy to use. The best part is that it is truly square which is extremely important for origami. The only thing that may be of concern to beginners is that it is colored on both sides. (Traditional origami paper is colored on one side and white on the other). So it may be a little confusing when following diagrams since your can't tell the "right side" from the "wrong side." It didn't matter for the fourth graders because we made a star that used two different colored papers at once, back-to-back.

Probably the best way to describe this paper is like really thin, really smooth, high quality construction paper. It's great for practicing with, and the results look really good (if not display quality, depending on your standards). I'd recommend this to beginners, it's great to have cheap paper you don't mind messing up with. Having the same color on both sides helps to hide when your folds aren't perfect (mine rarely are). For more experienced folders, this is great practice paper, and great to just throw something together if (say, like me) you're folding something for your elementary age child for whom it will be a disposable toy more than a piece of artwork for display.

I bought this for my daughter because she has became fascinated with making orgami and myself is not as familiar with orgami but I'm going to attempt to give a detailed review as best as possible.The paper seems to be of very good quality, and is the perfect size since the paper is designed for origami projects. The paper seems to me to be more thick than some of the other paper I have previously purchased for her and doesn't crease as well but once folded once or twice it becomes super soft. I would have to say these are perfect for children especially for the price. It came with a variety of colors too. So perfect price and quality for beginners at origami.

The packaging may vary a little from what's on the images. Mine came with a blue origami seahorse on the front. This is probably my favorite origami paper to date. First and foremost, it has color on both sides. I definitely think this is one of the better deals out there for 100+ sheets of this size with double sided color. The extra color does make it a little thicker than some of the smaller paper I've worked with, but the colors are beautiful. The larger size makes it easier to work with for beginners, as opposed to smaller paper you can get. Will definitely be buying again. And again. I can't recommend this enough.

The a paper is the right size and a great value for so many sheets which I need because I'm using it in the library of my Middle School for Maker Space days and they love it...but I was under the impression that origami was different colors on each side. And this paper is the same on both sides. It makes it so much easier to make folds when you can distinguish each side. That was just my carelessness when making the purchase. Otherwise it's good paper and is serving its purpose.

I purchased these papers for one of my daughters Christmas presents (2014), along with a book of origami designs. I thought she'd love it, and would be something fun we could work on together, for she loves doing crafts. The paper seems to be of very good quality, and is the perfect size since the paper is designed for origami projects. Overall it's been a big hit. She loves working on origami with me, and they are a lot of fun. A good alternative for TV and similar electronic stimulation on rainy days!

It contains 500 papers, and for that price that I purchased on amazon, it's a great deal. My daughter's been using it for weeks and she still have bunch left. It will last her a while. The paper is not cheap or thick type. It's thin and smooth enough to make sharp creases which is important in making origami. It's also a perfect size, especially for young ones. Lastly there are various color papers.
