This is the stylish, long version of the Helly Tec jacket. It has a fold-away hood, adjustable cuffs and hem, and an extra flap to keep your zipper dry. It´s a good choice for wearing over a skirt.

Great fit and comfort in a waterproof jacket.
So far I am loving this jacket! Not enough pockets on it but oh well. I love the fit and it's light yet warm without a ton of bulk. Most of my winter jackets were for wearing in the COLD and it hasn't been cold enough to wear them when it was raining. This fits me perfectly. I bought an XL for some room (I wear a large) so it's perfect with layers. The material is very nice and not the kind that snags on your fingers. It's very waterproof as I have worn it in the rain twice. Love the stow-away hood. Can't go wrong.

Great length. Breathable. Nice hood.
The Helly has become my go-to jacket During the cold, wet spring of 2016, it got a lot of use. Like the coat very much. Nice quality. Yes, the zipper could be smoother and the Velcro has a super grip on anything it touches, (Don't wear a favorite scarf because it will pull.) But the weight and material are substantial. It is definitely waterproof but it doesn't make me sweat. Pockets are reasonable. The hood is deep and does not fall off in use, unlike my Columbia.Runs a bit slim--sizing seemed a bit off. I am 5'6 and typically wear a 12. Bought xl based on reviews, but I was swimming in the coat. Returned for an L, which is a little snug across the hip but doable. If you have serious hips, it may not be the coat for you.Great with a fleece on colder days. Highly recommend.

Finicky shopper finds perfection!
I have been trying to find a raincoat that doubles for business and casual for years. I wanted one that looked great, and was stylish yet classic enough to not look outdated after a few years. I also did not want anything that was noisy. I am highly particular about fit, fabric, and quality and this jacket meets every criteria. It is just shaped enought to be flattering while still leaving room for blazers etc. underneath. It is long enough to cover my longer sweaters and also keeps thighs dry. The tall collar is a great look, and gives room to stow the hood without adding any uncomfortable bulk. The only cons are the Velcro on the storm fly, I am never a fan of Velcro but I suppose I may be glad it is there in a squall. So far I have worn it in a heavy rain, but not too much wind. The hood is held into the collar by elastic at the bottom of the collar opening. That looks slightly odd when the hood is worn out and hanging down, but I do not mind. It eliminates the bulk of a zipper and it looks lovely when the hood is stored. In all, I think that was an ingenious way to construct it. Thanks HH, but my favorite rain jacket ever.

Love/hate this jacket
I have a love-hate relationship with this jacket. It is flattering and it keeps me dry, but there are several things about it that drive me crazy. Overall, I regret purchasing it and wish I had bought something else.As for the good, it is work-appropriate, flattering, and does keep me dry. The soft pockets are one of the best features. As for sizing, I’m 5’3” 120lbs with a small chest & waist but bigger hips. I originally bought a medium since other reviewers said it ran a bit small, and since it covers my hips, I thought a medium may be necessary. I was swimming in the medium and exchanged it for the small. Even the small is quite roomy. As for the not so good, I don’t love the collar/hood – I like the clever way the hood tucks into the collar without any fasteners and I mostly like the way the collar stands up. But the collar is a little overwhelming and bulky, especially with the hood tucked in. I’m also meh about the jacket zipper. I won’t buy a long jacket without a double zipper, so I think that’s a nice feature. I like keeping the bottom unzipped a couple inches to make it easy to walk quickly and more comfortable for driving in the car. But, the zipper on this coat is trickier than most other double zippers I’ve tried. It sticks quite frequently and it’s hard to get it lined up just right to get it started. As for the bad, I despise the velcro tabs down the front. I have nothing against velcro itself – it’s a useful fastener and works great in many applications. On sleeves and hoods, it’s never bothered me. But on this coat, it drives me absolutely nuts. It is the grippy-est most aggressive velcro I’ve ever encountered. My hands are always cold, so I often wear thin gloves even in fall and spring. Wearing gloves with this jacket is a comical nightmare! I feel like a cat with tape stuck on my paws. It also snags scarves, sweaters, etc. I would never wear this coat with a skirt because the velcro would absolutely shred tights/nylons. At work, if I need to put my coat on the back of chair, it will either stick to the chair (if it’s fabric), or stick to my clothes, or both. And while I’m wearing it, the bottom velcro tab insists on clamping shut even when the bottom is unzipped a few inches (defeating the purpose). After weeks of being frustrated out of my mind whenever it rained and I put this coat on, I finally got out my seam ripper and took the bottom two velcro tabs off of the jacket. Removing the stiches did leave tiny visible holes, but I figured it was worth the risk of ruining it since I was ready to put it in the donation pile anyway. That small modification has made the jacket manageable – I’m considering removing all of the velcro tabs. (Full disclosure – my tolerance for discomfort is pretty high, but my threshold for annoyance is really low. So the velcro may not bother you, especially if you don’t wear snaggable clothing. But this will be my last jacket with velcro closures.)I am tempted to rate this jacket 2 stars (that's how much I hate the stupid velcro), but it is cute, keeps me dry, and has redeeming qualities. So I give it a reluctant 3 stars.

Love this Jacket!
It's stylish, light, the fit is perfect, and it kept me warm and dry in drizzly Tasmania recently. It arrived punctually and the quality is good. It will serve me well this winter on my walks as did my last Helly Hansen jacket. (which I accidently melted in front of the heater last winter- handy tip: keep away from strong heat source! ) I would recommend this jacket to keen walkers. It protects from wind and rain. The water just beaded off the jacket and wind was kept at bay. And on top of all the great features it looks really good too. Anita Sth Australia

Double zip broken, no replacement and lost money on postage
Helly Hansen seem to have supply problems with women's XL in various of their range. I had problems with two other styles of coat before Xmas. Quality control was poor so that the double-zip did not open. We like the product and would have been happy with a replacement. None was available and the refund did not cover our outlay on return postage. Rarely buy clothes from Amazon and would be wary in future.

Buena compra
Por lo que leí en los comentarios me esperaba algo de menor calidad. Me ha sorprendido bastante, estoy muy contenta, además, la talla S queda entallada pero no apretada, por lo que te da opción a ponerte algo gordo debajo.

LOVE!!
Perfect jacket!! Looks chic and classy in white and NOT like your regular rain jacket at all. That's why I like it; it can be worn with dressy attire and look good with a skirt and boots. Love the feminine cut and that the zipper is not visible d/t velcro. Fits slightly large. Usually I order XL, but after ordering XL and L I decided to keep the L and send XL back. L is a bit snug on me, but still nice. XL was too roomy. I am a curvy girl; 5'6.

ottima giacca hh
