Small , but mighty !
Works great ! The small cable works better in this application.

Excellent Product!!
I thought that I wouldn't have gotten much volume from using this. I was wrong! This worked great! I got Clear and loud sound when using this cable. I used it in an old church for my brothers wedding. It was very cost effective because we didn't have to hire a DJ. I just hooked this up to my computer and ran a playlist that I controlled from my iPhone. Very Effective!! The build quality is excellent and they offer a lifetime warranty on all their cables, at least that's what the box said. I couldn't be more pleased! For the price you can't go wrong.

How the heck can I run an iPhone into the board, man?
Your band has scored a huge gig, but how are you going to amplify your tablet? You are a master at using mobile apps to make the freshest noise but pointing a microphone at your screen's tiny speakers just isn't going to cut it. So what do you do? You get this, that's what. Now you can go right from your audio out/headphone jack directly into the mixing board! Cut to the after party: Your set went off without a hitch at it was LIT! You landed a record deal, a huge check and you got the girl (or boy, or whatever is your thing)! All because of this simple, but ESSENTIAL cable. PROS: It works. It exists. It's a bargain. CONS: Nope.

Must Have for Every Audio Tech
Incredibly useful for devices with a headphone jack going straight through your mixer.

A quickie solution.
This cable is a quick solution to get the stereo signal out of an iPod or iPad into one channel of a sound system. The cable basically sums the stereo signal down to mono and then your content is played through a sound system without any phase cancellation issues. If you really want stereo, then you need a Y cable that is TRS Mini on one end, and two separate opposing ends, either TS Quarter or XLRM, on the other end, to go into two channels of a stereo sound system. I'm finding that this simple solution, with mono sound, works just fine for most applications, especially on a single (mono) Bose L1, in small to medium size rooms, when playing guitar over tracks. The modest 10 foot length gives no noise. The jacks connect snuggly. Thanks!

works okay even though it's not made for this
It does work to plug a phone into a church/school microphone system to play music over the loud speakers, even though it really not made for that. Due to the balanced vs unbalanced mismatch between the systems, you get a very loud pop when you plug it in, and you have to have the phone volume on the lowest setting to keep the volume manageable. Not a fault of this device, but something you should be aware of if you intend to use it for this. If you turn off the microphone system and then plug everything in, you can avoid the loud and potentially damaging hiss and crack.

Thus when I saw this one for a good price, I didn't even hesitate
I've been buying Hosa cables for a long time, I mean many years. I've got cables that are close to 10-15 years old and are still working no problem. Over that many years I think I had only one cable fail, so I took it back to Guitar Center and they swapped it out for free. Thus when I saw this one for a good price, I didn't even hesitate. Two clicks and I had it on the way. Works like its suppose to, absolutely no problems. This cable is wired for a balanced xlr input into the sound board so you actually get a mono sound. If I remember correctly, connections coming from 1/8 jack to xlr are as follows: sleeve to pin 1 and 2, (ground); ring and tip to pin 3. See attached picture. In my case, I was using xlr only as a carrier in the snake (those are the only open ports I had), so I opened up the xlr connector on this cable and re-soldered the wires, pin 1 to ground (sleeve), pin 2 to tip (left channel), pin 3 to ring (right channel); See the second picture. On the other end of the snake I had a 1/4 stereo jack so I was actually carrying the stereo signal all the way to the sound board from the stage just had an xlr connection in the middle of the whole thing. Tested, all worked great. Even though the product was not built to be used in the way I use it, it is definitely with universal connector that is easy to open up and modify or solder a new one/different one if you need it. Definitely a recommended product and the company for that matter

Great quality for the price.
This cable does exactly what it is supposed to do. The XLR connection is a tight fit which is good, though I do wish there was an indexing mark on the outer case where the middle peg would be in the XLR end. The cable itself is good quality, I wish it was a little stiffer but it still works very well. Moving down to the 3.5mm jack portion, it is a 90 deg turn so that is amazing when plugging my tablet in as a soundboard. Overall great product for what you are paying for it and would for sure buy again

works well
Hard to find a cable like that, but i luckily found it on amazon. I use it to connect my tablet to my active speaker so i don't have to use a mixer. The sound quality is good but i wonder if it would sound better with a mixer in between. The build quality is good.

Prodotto valido a buon prezzo
Ho collegato il Tablet che uso per le basi musicali all'amplificatore, il volume è raddoppiato e la qualità è migliorata.
