Supreme Housewares, 1 Each Lemon Squeezer, 1 Count, Green

It seems that the market is flooded with similar squeezers, painted the same shades of garish yellow and green, and follow more or less identical form factor. The difference is largely, then, in the hinge. I've known a lot of instances of people's lemon and lime squeezers just cracking clean in half at the hinge, or the hinge itself cracking and breaking. I haven't had this one very long so I can't predict yet, but it seems to be a really solidly built item. Unlike some of its competitors, the hinge opens nearly 180 degrees, so you have no trouble getting the lemon half in. The hinge pin, as far as I can tell, is a solid piece of steel, and is riveted on very firmly. The handle is long enough to give pretty good leverage to get all the juice out of the lemon (but you'll probably still have to use two hands). The hinge doesn't wobble at all either, the action of opening and closing is solid and along a single plane. All in all, extremely happy with my purchase; I had spent quite a while deliberating exactly which squeezer to get.

Green Lime Squeezer - Will not buy again -- I replaced this lime squeezer with a similar one I had previously. While this does work with small limes, this lime squeezer is unusually small compared to others I've seen and used. Since I bought this lime squeezer, I've found myself in the grocery store looking for smaller limes just so they can fit into this squeezer. The diameter is just not large enough for many limes, and bag bushels I buy at Trader Joes, practically none of them fit into the squeezer which has caused frustration with optimum use. -- I recommend not to buy this lime squeezer. When shopping for a lime squeezer, review the specs, or ask why the seller hasn't listed them, and look for one with a larger diameter than this one. I'm not pleased that I now have to shop for yet another lime squeezer.

I had been to Mexico at a time share which has a lemon squeezer in the kitchen as standard equipment. I got very use to using their lemon squeezer on key limes when I cooked the fresh fish purchased within walking distance, that had just come off the boat.Of course, it took 2 dealers before I finally got one. The first company never sent it and I had to get my money back. The 2nd time I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks coming from China. It took 4 weeks and that was OK because at least they had told me it would take that long. As far as quality so far it is holding up.

I am doing the 17 Day Diet and drink lemon water every morning. This was a game changer. It makes getting the optimal amount of lemon juice so easy. I am definitely so thankful I am not hand squeezing those darn lemons. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the yellow is starting to fade where the lemon is squeezed. It doesn't bother me that much, but it certainly isn't perfect either. All in all, I am incredibly happy with it and use it daily.

I thought it was strange when I opened up the package only to find that this product was chipped and damaged upon arriving to me. I have no idea what kind of paint is coating this contraption, or what the inside is comprised of, but the paint has chipped off quite a bit and I haven't even used it yet! I'm sure it's functional, but still... it's always disappointing getting something new that appears to have ware and tear already.

It does a good job on squeezing lemons and limes. However, it leaves a residue from the peel. We used it to make drinks with, and did not wash it every time someone squeezed a lemon or lime. At the end of the evening, it was difficut to clean. You literally had to scrape the residue off. Now it has to be cleaned everytime you use it, to prevent the residue. It needs to made from a better material to prevent this.

I like to give my limes a good squeeze, believe you me. When I squeeze limes, I like ALL of the juice to come out. I leave none behind. So I grabbed my new shiny lime squeezer and prepared for some juicing. At first, I had a little trouble getting my half lime in the hole. For some silly reason, the company decided to limit how far the two legs of my lime squeezer can open. I like the legs to open all the way, not half way. Once I jammed my juicy lime into the gully that would empty all of its juices, I gave a big squeeze, and by big I mean a CrossFit power squeeze (do you even know what I'm capable of?). Then, out of nowhere, my muscles said, "I'm way to strong for you, lime squeezer," and boom, the leg broke right off. My muscles laughed, my lime squeezer cried, and my finger wondered why it was bleeding. It was a sad day as nobody wants to break a leg off of something that squeezes juices.

Yellow means lemons, right? NOT! This is a lime squeezer only. And a very small one. I have a green one for limes that is of better quality. But neither of these squeezers have a brand name on them so I could not order the "good" one and had to hope a similar looking one was the same. It is not. However, I have used it for several weeks and it is still working well. It is just much less sturdy.

Poor build quality and finish.I had returned the product as per their instructions and got confirmation from speed post, but the company refuses to oblige.When I sent them the confirmed receipt, they stopped replying to my emails!You get a better product in home Center for less than 10th the price.Wouldn't recommend to anyone, at all....
