HQRP Blue + Red + Orange + White 225 LED Grow Lamp

I am a marine aquarist and use this light for my refugium. I have a 180 and 150 gallon tank, so I already had some experience with another version of this light. For my 150 I ordered the all red light and experienced some problems. With just the red grow light my chaeto turned somewhat brown. I then added a 5000K CFL clamp light, and together, the red LED and clamp light cause my chaeto to grow like crazy. I have been running refugiums with chaeto and mangroves for about 8 years now and have never experienced great growth. I have used mini compact fluorescent lights, clamp lights with aquarium bulbs, and clamp lights with CFL bulbs - all with less than stellar results. When I found these lights at such a great price, I decided to give it a shot and now, as I said, I have tremendous growth - enough to supply my other tanks and my friend's tanks. All that being said, I ordered this light for my 180 because it had white lights with it and I wanted to see if I could get rid of the clamp light. I don't know if it would work in the long run, but this light is still overall red. It does not provide me with enough light to work under the tank, so I ended up adding a white LED clamp light to my setup anyway. In any case, for the first time in over a year, my chaeto in my 180 is growing! If I needed another light I would still order this over the total red, but this or the red combined with a 5000K (CFL or LED) seems to be the perfect combination. Furthermore, it contains no fans to make it loud and puts out very little heat. Some have complained about the quality - it is made of plastic, but screw it in and don't touch it and I don't see where the plastic would be a problem. For my needs, this light is in a moist environment and plastic doesn't rust - so it's a win for me.

This product will make your plant tops stand up pretty but that is it. Not strong enough to do any good.

Good option for seedlings but I could never grow a crop to harvest on this. It's smaller than it looks about the size of a small floor tile and I'm not saying LEDs are bad but this couldn't cut it for me. I used it in addition to a small cfl for seedlings after that it was useless except that it's kind of pretty I guess. Can't speak for how long the bulbs last mine are all still working but feels like I wasted the money and I ended up buying classic MH and HPS lights anyway so until this comes bigger and brighter I couldn't use it past the very early seedling stage.

Throws a pretty color of light on the wall, useless for plants. Have this on a basil plant on one side and a screw mini led light on the other, the half facing this light is droopy and thin, the cheap screw is side looks fine. Wrong type of LED for a grow light.

I had reservations reading reviews about this but there were enough good ones I thought I'd give it a shot.Well all of the lights work and it is very inexpensive so what is there to complain about?I have yet to grow anything under it though (soon as I get more soil) but the full color spectrum is aglow.It arrived fast no damage I just hope the plants respond to the lights as this is the secondary lighting system to boost harvest amount

I don't like doing these but was so impressed I had to. I have been trying to get indoor plants to grow in almost no natural light and have tried many grow lights then I found this . broad light spectrum and the plants just seem to reach for it. I have not had this long but it appears light issues are a thing of the past. i have been impressed by the rapid growth onset since applying this to my arsenal and would recomend trying this first if looking to grow plants indoors

It provides light but not strong enough to grow at a rapid rate. takes about an extra 1 1/2 months to harvest at prime conditions. I suggest you dont skimp on costs.
