Skylanders SWAP Force Signature Series Strategy Guide

This is my sons, but ive looked through it with him. This guide is an excellent way to ensure you can get the most out of the Skylanders Swap Force game. Not only will this guide show you where you're missing key collectibles such as treasure chests and the pilots missing items,but it at the beginning goes through skylander basics. It has descriptions of all the characters. Along with their powers and special moves. If you have a skylander swap force fan its a must have.

My son loves to read and loves Skylanders. I thought it would be too much for him at 4 and that he would enjoy the pictures, but it has been awesome. He reads it to find out how to play the game better and often pauses the game to refer to it. Good for reading practice and as a reference tool. So glad I purchased it.

My son (age 5) is OBSESSED with these strategy books. We have to read them constantly. While he is playing, at dinner, at the doctor's office, at bedtime. They are written in a fun manner that he enjoys (albeit they have some typos and could use a good tech writer to write a bit more efficiently and clearly.) The pictures are great.

I chose a 5 star rating because I bought this guide for my grandson and he absolutely loved it! The guide has vibrant colors and graphics. It also has an abudance of information about all different types of Skylander figures. I also have to say that the shipping time was quick and I was extremely happy with the packaging! Highly recommend!

I love that it has the maps of where everything is. The look into each way to get stars and upgrades was great too. Now if it could only tell me HOW to add Skylanders to my collection. I have literally every Skylander out so far, even rare and hard to finds, BUT my collection on the game doesn't show it accurately and I can't figure out how to add them on there.

He tells me here is a lot oggood information in this book, and according to him, it makes the game more fun and allows him to moveforward more easily. If you or a loved one likes these "Skylanders Wii" games, go get this book. Best big smilie ever bought. (grin)

I have the Bradygames manual for all 3 editions of skylanders. I found the version for Giants a nice step up from Spyro's, but this feels like a step backwards. Yes it provides all the maps and information about collectibles, but it really doesn't guide the player.For example: In the Giants version, each character that was playable in Giants was listed. In this version only those that are being released as part of this set are listed. So if someone new comes along and grabs a character from the older sets, which TRU has going to do when it re-releases DynoRang, the user lacks details on the characters.I also found the details on each character to be the same as what was shown on the screen. There is no guidance. In Giants, the author took the time to provide some commentary on each character/ability. It helped parents to decide if a path would provide the best experience for their kids. That is severely lacking in this version.Worst case, there is no other publication of a guide for Swap Force, so you are stuck with what you get.

My almost-five-year-old loves Skylanders. This book has been through a lot in a very little span of time and has held up. Cover is extra durable for a guide. I read this several times a week. Lots of fun Skylander info if that's your thing.
