Lightweight cable knit; 77% cotton, 20% nylon, 3% spandex. I like that when the socks are taken off, they retain their shape -- they aren't all stretched out like cheaper socks. Like other reviewers I found the sizing vague, so I'm including the sizing from the Gold Toe label: Small = shoe size 3-8.5; Medium = shoe size 9-1.5; Large = shoe size 2-10.5. my daughter wears a shoe size 1, and the medium socks fit great.

These are awesome! I have 4 kids and socks are always a problem. Too baggy, too little, too thick, too sheer, too quick to get holes, etc. Knee socks are even more of a pain. When I looked at these I was super hesitatant bc I was concerned the large size wouldnt work for middle school and high school ages girls with women sized feet. They fit like a glove and despite being washed multiple times a week they still stay up and don't look like they are a million years old. The other fantastic thing about them is the toe stripes so neither myself or my kids have to spend time matching up socks to figure out which ones fit the 7 year old and which ones fit the 7th grader. I've been buying knee high school socks for about 10 yrs now. I can't even recall how many different brands I've tried by this point. All I know is that is a problem that past me had to deal with. Future me is good to go with these are 10 star socks. Mom's, dads, and guardian's of kids all around the world, hear me now and believe later when I say BUY THESE SOCKS.

I really like these but I bought them for myself and they are too snug for my legs. I wear a size 5.5-6 size shoe and for some reason ladies socks are all of a sudden way too large for me. These are perfect for my foot, but leave sock marks on my legs and ankles if I scrunch them down.These are definitely for children or for women with thin legs. Made well, love the weight of the material.

My daughter wears AFO’s. She needs knee socks and most that I find are thin and catch on the Velcro of her braces and make holes after one or two wears. I ordered the three pack of these socks and am thrilled with the thickness and quality. I already ordered another package.

We needed knee highs for a wedding (my daughter was the flower girl). We got these but ended up not being able to use them. There seemed to be a lot of extra fabric causing a lot of bunching all over. My daughter is 4 and wears a size 9.5 shoe

We needed knee socks for my 2 granddaughters that would stay in place and not be falling down around the ankle. I knew if I I could find some Gold Toe Knee socks they would fill the bill. Also the girls are very small boned and are very active so they are like reeds-tall and thin! One is 6 and theother is 11. The socks fit perfect, stayed up and kept their legs warm.

Purchased for dance recital. Perfect socks for school girl costume. Funny thing is that I bought a pack of 3 thinking my daughter could use them for school after the performance. Come to find out they are not allowed with their uniforms. lol.

Decent quality, though nothing special. Ordered a SMALL for my kindergartner in size 13 shoes. Fit perfectly.

My daughter has really taken to these socks because she says they never fall down at school. They are very slim fitting so if your child has larger calves they may not work for you. The fabric is of a decent thickness and quality.

La tela es de calidad pero si son pequeños para una talla 3 tendría que pedir el grande el mediano queda muy justo
