Mr.Shield for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 7inch Anti-Glare Screen Protector [3-Pack] with Lifetime Replacement

Nicely done! This kit comes with 3 anti-glare screen protectors (good in case you screw one up) and ample supplies to install them - including bubble and dust removers. They're a little tricky to install, like all really invisible screen protectors, so it's important that you take your time and do it in a clean, dust-frees, well-lit location. I say well-lit because the screen protector is very hard to see! That's a GOOD thing. While it's tempting to say "I'm an intelligent person and can figure out how to do this on my own," I recommend you watch their short instructional video. It' well done, and shows a couple of common scenarios you're likely to encounter when installing any screen protector, like bubbles and dust that you missed before pressing the screen protector into place. They have a clever solution in my opinion. While I ended up with a bubble around the button of my Galaxy Tab 4, and a thin bubble around one off-screen edge, I attribute that to the precision size of the screen protector withe respect to the Galaxy Tab's glass, and my rushing the install a bit. There's a bezel around the glass, and if you don't align the screen protector precisely, one edge will overhang the bezel and will be lifted from the glass slightly. Same I'd true around the button, which is trickier to align. You have to align the screen protector PERFECTLY between the camera lens and the button. In my case I simply trimmed one edge with scissors and decided I can live with the bubble around the button since it's off the screen area. I could easily fix it if it bugs me though. Overall, I don't think there's much you could do to improve on the product or the instructions. It's a screen protector, and it's cheap. It works.

I'm impressed. I've installed more than a few screen protectors, and this is the best package and support I've seen. I always order a 3-pack because inevitably I screw up the first attempt so bad I have to start over. But not this time. They have excellent instructional videos online, and they include some special strips for removing dust even after you put the protector on! That's what usually forces me to a second one, but these strips allow you to pick up a corner of the protector and remove the dust that's adhering to it. I got the protector on the first time, and they get five stars! * * * * * Update 02/10/16: needed to replace my protector, but couldn't find the rest of the protectors. (I must have put them in the proverbial "safe place" where I wouldn't lose them. And we all know how that goes.) I figured I could use the same technique Mr. Shield does to remove those last specks of dust, and bought a cheaper brand. Fail! I went through a whole three-pack of another brand, trying to get the last little specks out, and couldn't do it. So I ordered another set of Mr. Shield. And it went on just as easily as the first time, and I was able to get every last little speck of dust out from under the protector. If I could give them another five stars, I would. Get these. They're worth the little bit extra.

I had not realized how much of a necessity these are until I compared one of my unshielded tablets with a shielded one. I then immediately ordered these. The actual screen remains free of smears and cracks and the tactile/reactive/capacitive response is not lost. Reading the negative reviews suggests to me that the reviewers either did not follow the installation instructions, did not understand the purpose of this product, or had unrealistic expectations. 1. If one cleans the screen properly, then follows the installation instructions, installation is straightforward. 2. It will get smeared during use (so does the glass), especially if you swipe with your fingers, but it cleans easily. 3. It may very well get scratched at some point, but I believe it is better to have one of these inexpensive shields get scratched than the expensive glass of the tablet. 4. Miniscule gaps might very well occur at the bottom but I can get neither my fingertip nor a stylus tip into one of those tiny gaps. These are inconsequential to me as they have never effected the operation of my tablet. The gaps, if present, are just esthetically displeasing. These installed more cleanly than some other brands I have tried, and I use shields on all of my tablets and iPhones.

Installation is fairly easy. Several hints. Be sure your screen is very clean. Line it up several times before you take off the backing. Then with your samsung in the horizontal position, start placing the screen protector down in the middle of the screen, working to the outsides. Use the side of your credit card to rub the bubbles to the outside edge of the screen protector. I didn't have a glare as I see others mentioning on their reviews. I also didn't get scratches on my protector. I do think that the screen protector is someone cloudy after some use though. It's not horrible but it might bug some people that it gets a little bit cloudy. I am giving it a four star rating because of this. The screen protector is not as 'smooth as glass' as if you had nothing on it. This is a thick screen protector. It makes it harder to install and you can tell it has a different feel than a thin, barely there, screen protector. I think it is fine for the price.

Whenever I get a new device, I always dread installing the screen-protector, inevitably fighting with it, specs of dust, improper alignment, etc With Mr. Shield, this is no longer a problem. First, I suggest you watch the installation video. Easy to find. The URL is on the inside flap of the package. Comes with everything you need to remove any dust, pre or post installation. I didn't need to remove any dust, it went on very smoothly, the first time, so I didn't need to adjust it, which is usually when you have a dust problem. Great product!!!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
