Fromm Four-Star Surf & Turf Cat Food, 5 Lb

Yes this is REALLY expensive cat food. But, my cat loves it, it’s grain free, and is easy on his digestive system. I love my pets more than myself so I’ll continue to feed this food to them. I also love that it is made in the USA so I am confident the quality and manufacturing is of high standard.

My cat has been eating Fromm cat food now for 3 months and she cannot get enough of it. But this month we purchased a 5 lb bag of the surf & turf dry food and it’s literally like crack to her! As soon as I give her the recommended amount she devours it within 2 minutes it’s unbelievable , we’ve started cutting down her portions because she’s been eating it so fast and has been having hiccups. Either way it’s organic wholesome nutritious ingredients have improved her health , mood , energy , fur and much more she loves it and we love it for her.

I have tried by numerous brands and my cat didn’t like them. He loves this food. I like that this food is made in the United States and they use quality ingredients unlike many other well known brands that get ingredients from other places and then there’s a recall:)

My cat loves this food. She used to be on strictly wet food but cried for it 8x a day. It wasn’t manageable. After switching her back to dry food, (she used to eat Earthborn) she seems much more satisfied and doesn’t beg for food as often. A 5lb bag lasts 3 weeks, so it is rather expensive, but worth it. I live in a small town and don’t have a pet store to buy acceptable food so I have to order off of amazon. She likes it, I like it, I would recommend it.

I decided I need to switch to a higher quality cat food and after some research this is what I decided on. I was a bit wary of offering this to my famously picky female cat. The last time I tried to switch her food we had a four day stand off in which she did not eat at all rather then eat the new food, and I eventually had to give up on that attempt. Like last time I mixed this into her old food. The first day she ate half of it and picked out a few pieces and placed them on the floor, but by the second day she was eating normally. This food smells good and it is the only time I have ever been able to change this cat's food. Comes in a pretty bag. Hard to find anywhere but the internet, but definitely worth the search. One of the reasons I chose this brand is not only because it is healthier but because they have never had a recall, as I had lost a cat due to a prescription food recall a few years back. I feel good knowing she is eating healthier, and she seems to enjoy the change for once in her life.

I've been feeding Fromm dry food to my cat for many years. She likes it, especially the green variety as the orange once seems to have given her occasional digestive issues. However, the packaging is kind of flimsy because of the seal. The seal will close the first couple of times but it always separates from the bag and stops sealing. I'm going to have to start transferring it to a bigger container so it maintains freshness but I wish the bag was sufficient.

I love it (the branding, the smell of the food, the rich content; the no-bullshit approach). My 7.5 year Holy Birman cat loves it too. After eating it for a few weeks, I noticed that my cat is jumping around like a little kitten. His eyes brightened up, I could finally see a spark in his eyes and it was as if he has woken up from a long sleep (i.e. being " killed" alive by the crappy food from Royal Canine and Pet's Hills which he was eating before). After having eaten Fromm' s for 4 weeks, I could see that my cat is now more agile, active and incredibly playful. His fur is now soft and thick...He was on the insidious " devil" Hill's Prescription diet and other s*** by Royal Canine before and I thought my cat's well being was going downhill. Thank you, Fromm! You have saved my cat's life, improved his well being and have brought more light into my life and the life of my georgeous cat!

I bought 5 lbs Fromm surf and turf for my cat, I want to give it a try because on the review this one is the top choice of most cats love, this product just arrive on time when my cat's dry food ran out, my cat loves this one, she finished half bowl in less than 4 hours, which usually not happening with wellness core. I try the wellness grain free first dry food brand I bought after I adopted my cat, she won't eat it unless she is desperate and starving. I will try different flavor after this bag finished.

My dog and cat both have sensitivities to food. I got this bag for my cat and the gold & pink bag for my dog and they both ended up having reactions to it for some reason.My cat had a skin & lung reaction and my dog a GI reaction. After the food was switched back both reactions stopped. Not sure what is in their products that could’ve caused BOTH of them to react poorly.Probably fine if your animals doesn’t have allergies!
