I have owned one of the older models from Reliable which had lasted me over 12 years. With that said, I had to try the 5100CJ model. The unit was delivered in good timing and was packaged very well. It's neat and compact size is perfect for my home workshop.I have only operated the steam cleaner twice since it arrived. Set up is fast and quite easy. Although it takes some time to get up to steam pressure (20 mins or so), it does work very well giving ample amounts of steady steam. Only thing missing is a power lead to indicate that the power switch is on.All in all it seems to be well built and I think with proper care it should last... time will tell.

This worked for about a year. While it was working, i would say that the steam pressure was lower than other consumer models. This is the 3rd one i owned, and thought i would economize a bit with the 5000CJ, but i guess you get what you pay for. Should last longer than a year.

I have used every jewelry cleaning apparatus known besides steam. There is absoutely no comparison. This steam cleaner is so much better than any ultrasonic cleaner out there! I cleaned multiple pieces with an ultrasonic cleaner before using this steam cleaner. The difference was astonishing, to say the least. I was amazed when comparing a piece that I had just cleaned with one of the most expensive ultrasonic cleaners (diamond earings)to the steamed cleaned piece. You will not be dissapointed. This product is worth every penny if you want your jewelery to look like it shoud.This machine takes a few minutes to heat up, but it is worth the wait. I would definately recommend this product if you want your jewelery to look its best!

Was skeptical at first, but after reading many reviews about it I gave it a try and I don't regret it one bit. It takes a little time to warm up but works great. I had previously used the Green Dragon and the Silver Dragon, this is much easier to use and the quality is better in my opinion. I have a small jewelry repair shop in my basement, and sometimes I work on up to 30 pieces in a day and this keeps up with me pretty good. I would recommend it. Thanks

This steamer is great. We used it on our jewelry and the pieces came out great. We have used it for friends who have come over...they love it. Its very easy to use and works great. The only issue I have is the smell. After using the machine, the smell of the room is horrible. I don't know if this is due to it being new or if this is going to be an ongoing issue.Hope the smell goes away, but we will use it regardless.

Very disappointed in this steam cleaner and in the Reliable company. As a jewelry store we come to rely in the equipment that we purchase and need it to work on a daily basis. The steamer low water level warning kept coming on and automatically shut off the boiler after only eight months of use. The most disappointing aspect of it is the lack of response from the company's technical support. They do not respond to emailed support tickets and they do not answer the phone. Steer clear.

I wasn't sure about this because it doesn't look familiar but it works just fine and takes up minimal space. I like the low water button so I have some warning about the water level. I have already recommended it to friends. This is good for a small shop(jewelry) at home or a store for behind the counter quick cleaning. I would rather have a $1200 SteamMaster but this is an acceptable alternative until I can afford one.
