Great calf compression
I’m a long-time user of compression products for blood pressure support. My go-to brands are usually Bioflect for leggings (easiest to get on compression products) and Sigvaris for socks and full hose. I was looking for calf compression and separate ankle socks for days that my hands are acting up to making the process of compressing my whole legs easier. Cardiologist recommended compression shorts of 30%+ spandex (Knix, Sunzel, and CRZ yoga have some with this criteria! I prefer Knix out of these with CRZ yoga second just to personal preference to the fit themselves, quality is good with all.) to go with knee high or over the knee socks if I’m not wearing full hose. Once I found brands for that, I built up a good supply of Sigvaris knee and over-the-knee 30-40mmHg options, but some days those are difficult to put on. These calf sleeves feel just as nice and are very easy to put on compared to socks. They support well and feel equivalent to my Sigvaris. The black color is nice and opaque. They stretch fine over my heels and then support well without pinching anywhere. I paired mine with SB Sox compression athletic ankle socks, which provide 15-20mmHG on the foot and ankle. I sized down on my socks (size 9 women’s shoe should be medium and I chose small) and they compress perfectly in conjunction with these sleeves and my shorts.

Compression Z has got me back to running pain-free again.
This item has been a God-send. For a while I had a lot of knee issues, specifically my right knee and both calves and shins. I had bad shin splints before a 5k last month, a few weeks before that run. I ordered these sleeves a week or so before the run, but unfortunately they arrived after I ran. But that was ok. After my run and in the days to follow, my shins didn't hurt but my calves were very sore and tight. I didn't know when I'd be able to run again. I ordered these sleeves specifically because they said they'd relieve sore calves and stop the shin splints. Verdict: They did just that. I haven't had any need pain in my knees at all since these sleeves arrived last month and since I immediately started using them. I've used them anytime I've gone running, and while a lack of endurance has stopped me from running very far like I used to on a regular basis right now, I've been able to run more and run more without stopping a lot because of these sleeves. I haven't had any tight calves or shin splints, any pain at all, before, during, or after any run. They've been great so far. I thought maybe it was my shoes that have been the cause of my knee issues, and while that still could be the case, I've still worn them for shorter runs along with the Compression Z calf compression sleeves and I haven't had a single issue at all so far (knock on wood). They've been great and the answer I needed for my calves and shins. I plan on wearing them in my training for a 5k in early June and during that run. I recommend these to anyone suffering from sore knees, sore calves, and if you have shin splints because they've stopped the pain. Not just during a run and after, but the days to follow after a run as well. Great product.

GREAT compression for the calves. Light weight. Seem comfortable enough to wear all day.
I purchased 4 pairs (two navy and 2 white) size large. I purchased these sleeves because I recently had a TIA and the MD recommended wearing something that would help to prevent blood clots in the legs. I'm 6'0 tall of average weight. But when I tried the compression sleeve I ordered (L) it was too loose and did not provide any compression at all. I'm returning these back and I ordered the replacements in a size Medium. My recommendation is that you measure your calf and not go by height chart. Other than that the sleeves feel light and seem comfortable to wear. I'm looking for a compression sleeve that I can wear all day and these seem light and breathable. Looking forward to receiving my correct size. I will update my review when the correct size arrives and I get to try them on. **UPDATED REVIEW** The compressionZ sleeves are awesome! The correct size provides the perfect amount of compression. They are not too tight and do not constrict, yet you can feel the compression. Wore them all afternoon yesterday in the hot, humid So.FL heat and they felt less hot/sweaty than wearing a normal cotton t-shirt. When I took them off they were not sweaty or moist. I can easily wear these all day without any problems and eventually wearing them when I can go back to working out in the gym. Looking forward to wearing these CompressionZ sleeves to prevent blood clots.

Good design EXCEPT for the top band
I'm giving these a tentative 4 just because while I've got them on as I write this review, it's my first day with them. Like some other reviewers mentioned, I didn't buy these for runs, but because I work a deskbound job that is bad for my legs - they get stiff and sore by day end if I don't wear some kind of compression. I don't need HEAVY compression and the socks that I've tried so far have been so difficult to get on and off that the process is a huge DISincentive to even bother - but then my legs suffer when I don't. So I was searching for light compression with ease of getting in and out of them, so sleeves seemed the ticket. I was a bit concerned, based on other reviews, about sizing - I have very large calves and have had bad experiences with compression socks both being too tight AND the band at the top cutting into me. I ordered an XL honestly just hoping they'd fit. Was very pleased to find they fit nicely. The compression is light, but maybe a bit more so in that I think these may be just one size too large - but I am not ready to try the size down because of the top cuff. On the XL's I ordered the top cuff fits quite nicely - snug enough to stay put, and with the textured, wider cuff I know I will NOT have to spend my day pulling them back up. But I'm fearful that the next size down, while providing a bit better compression, would cut into my leg at the calf too much. So I might just have to live with the tradeoff. I've been deskbound today and my legs are NOT in pain, so it may be that this is adequate compression at this size. Time will tell, I'll be particularly interested to see how they perform when I'm more active, walking around, working out, etc. (Update): okay, having worn these a couple days now, they're going in a drawer and I'm reducing my rating by a star. The Good: what initially felt like compression that was too light was in fact just right. The Very Bad: while I originally bought these primarily because of the wider and textured band, which was attractive because I was tired of pulling socks up all the time, my initial fear that the band, even in an XL, would be too tight to endure for long was correct. The top band doesn't seem to match the sizing of the rest of the sock, it grows uncomfortably tight pretty quickly. I tried adjusting where it hit at the knee, tried ignoring it....couldn't. Had high hopes for these, but the tight top band is a deal breaker. Not worth returning.

Pretty Good
I purchased these sleeves because I was experiencing leg pain while walking. I have been using them all week around the house but today was the first day that I used them during my high intensity walk. They worked. I didn't experience any of the usual pain in my left shin and overall they felt pretty good. I didn't really measure my calf when I purchased them but I did look at the height chart before I ordered them in large. It's not too tight and not too loose that they would fall off. However, I do wonder if I should have purchased the medium for a more snug feeling on my leg but since I had no pain, I'm going to assume that this size is just fine. I may purchase a pair of the medium any way just to see how they feel. I bought mine in orange and I like the color. It looks exactly as it does in the picture. I was worried about sweating in them during walking but they seemed to breathe and they weren't sweaty when I removed them. I should note that with the sleeves not being overally tight, they should be great to maintain circulation on long flights. I have seen some of the compression tights that my mother uses for circulation and they're almost too tight. She had to take them all in flight to Europe. I imagine that the size I have would allow me to sit on a long flight without pulling them off because they're too tight. So there's another thing to consider. If you're a serious runner, I don't know much about these sleeves in whether or not they would help you but for a person that experiences shin pain while walking, I will definitely say that I have had a positive experience with them.

Size.... Not at all true to size....
These are no where true to size... I ordered the largest size you can get and they barely fit on my firearms and I'm not a big gal... I bought them for my autistic grandson for when I was bitten by A brown recluse to help him leave the bandages alone, well so much for that, the were tiny... What a waste of money...

IF YOU SIT IN AN OFFICE ALL DAY......BUY THESE NOW!!!
I work in customer service and sit for 80% 90% of the day. Because of sitting, I have poor circulation in my legs which causes pain (and sometimes "burning" sensations) in the muscles around my shins and my calves. If I am immobile for too long and I don't get up and walk, or run in place, the pain radiates to my thighs. CompressionZ sleeves has made life much easier!! If you do a lot of sitting in an office, you need these!! Order a pair before you start experiencing pain! I just my pair a couple days ago and THEY HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. They are helping with my circulation tremendously. The only downside is that they could be just a bit tighter...however, even with the compression from size XL I still feel the difference with reduced pain in my legs. IMAGINE THE BENEFIT FROM SIZE LARGE???!!! I've ordered a size Large which I know will help even better. Tips: (1) Measure the circumference of your calf with a tape measure and order the appropriate size. (2) If it is too loose, keep them, but order the next size down. Wear the loose pair around the house when you're just at home and wear the tighter pair when you're sitting at work (because that's when you'll need compression the most!!) Unknown Pro Tip: If you live in a cold climate (Mid-West or East Coast) in the winter time, these may act as leggings and keep your legs warm...at least for the time it takes you to get out of the car and into your office building...especially if you are wearing a pair of thin slacks/pants. Hope this helps someone :)

Comfortable and stays on
Well I purchase this pair not for my shin splints. A casual talk with my doctor friends about some visible veins on my legs leads to concerns over varicous veins. I've been logging 30 miles a week for a couple of years. My doctor friends told me not to run excessively because the blood pressure in venous veins esp at the lower part of our body can be too much for the vein valves to handle, causing exploded veins. Well, what can be a solution? The answer they had for me was to wear elastic long socks when I run. The 1st thing came to my mind was lingerie. Intuitively this can be a solution effectively to relieve some of the pressure on my vein while I am loading up my system at running, on the other hand this can be "misleading" while i am running in the woods. After some key word searching, i locked in this pair of compression for a try based on the good reviews for (OTC) shin splint control. Below are the pros and cons after I took them for more than 3 times over 10 miles runs. Pros: - They really stay on for over ten miles (at pace ~8) - I feel they are there, but still comfortable - I assume they can block some sun light. I don't like wearing sunblock. - I wouldn't say they are good looking, but at least they are acceptable Cons: - Have to take extra 30s to put them on before run Again, for my preventive purpose, the compression work perfectly. The product looks high quality. I would buy another pair, if I am still using it after half a year.
