Small, convenient and portable
I purchased this 5lb propane cannister from Flameking for my two burner Coleman stove/chuck box because its small, convenient and portable . It arrived without any imperfections no damage, no scratches or dings considering its management during transportation. Regarding its size, and wieght its definitely manageable and portable. Which is a plus for me because i have poor dexterity. Its small foot print will make it convenient because it can be placed just about anywhere, back seat, trunk or mounted to a truck bed. This tank will provide more than enough gas for a weekend getaway or whenever we want to head to the local park for an unscheduled dinner. All in all it's a good tank, that offers a great compact size, that does what it's supposed todo. Help keep you fed, warm or both. Hope this helps, enjoy a day away!

Perfect for the Weber Q2200
After 6 green 1lb bottles it was time to make an economical, reusable change. This 5lb model is a perfect fit for the Weber Q2200. It fits comfortably under the grill stand. The 5lb weight is easy haul around and refill. The refill cost of $5.28 is cheaper than a single green bottle. It should last as long as 5 green canisters. If that turns out to be true then it will pay for itself after the 2nd refill. It is such a good deal and size that I’m strongly considering it for our short term rental in Myrtle Beach that has a Weber Q1200. Makes sense for our renters, and ourselves as well, while not posing a big risk to our unit. Note that my objective was an economical alternative for an almost exclusively condo usage. For a truly portable usage the 5lb canister isn’t as portable as a single 1lb canister, but it beats a 11lb or 20lb tank hands down and certainly carrying 2 or more of the green tanks.

compact, awesome lil tank
THis thing is awesome, paired with my DIY ammo can fire pit. It makes for a great compact fire for car camping.

Great for the overland lifestyle or for campers that don't want to take that 20 lb propane tank
Very nice quality propane cylinder. I did not realize it was only a 1 gallon propane tank but it will serve its purpose for what I need

WORKS GREAT , NICE SIZE
Bought for RV camping LP grill because the mini green bottles don’t hold much & are a bit if work to refill. Bought the connector line too. Less weight, easier to handle, easier to fit in bed of truck than large 20 pound tank. It is brand new well made with a reliable shutoff valve. Would recommend.

Awesome, but not get 5lbs on fill ups.
Awesome for my buddy heater, will last multiple ice fishing trips. But when I got it filled they only got 1.2 lbs into it. Not sure if they messed up or what but it still lasted multiple trips so not sure what’s going on there.

A great little tank for a great price
I bought this 5-lb. propane tank mainly because of its price, which is about the best I could find either online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I use it for my camp stove in place of the annoying and expensive 1-lb. disposable canisters (I made myself an adapter for hooking up this refillable bulk tank to my stove through an adjustable pressure regulator). For this purpose, the tank performs perfectly, and it's already well on its way to paying for itself by dramatically reducing the cost of cooking with my camp stove (e.g., a 1-lb. canister costs about the same as a 5-lb. refill!). The tank came with a little plastic level gauge that can be easily removed and re-installed. The gauge works by magnetically detecting the level of the tank's "overpressure-protection device" (OPD). At first I thought the gauge was faulty because after filling the tank for the first time, the gauge showed that the tank was almost empty (!). However, now after using the tank on a three-day camping trip, the gauge is reporting that the tank is almost completely full, which I believe. I suspect that when the tank is "filled to the brim," the OPD is so close to the gauge that it "saturates" the magnetic-detection method, rendering a nonsensical measurement. Now that the level in the tank has dropped a bit, the OPD is within the gauge's usable range, and the gauge therefore now registers a reasonable value. One final thing: the tank comes with a sticker on the valve indicating that the tank has been vacuum purged. Keep this sticker: since this was the first time to fill the tank, the guy at the propane store wouldn't fill the tank unless I could prove that the tank had been vacuum purged.

Great size for camping
This is a great size for camping to run a camp stove or griddle. It is much less expensive to refill this tank than to buy disposable 1-pound tanks. It is much easier to manage than lugging around a 20-pound tank, and it runs a stove for several camping trips. This one with a gage was cheaper than the one without a gage, so that is an extra bonus.

Esta chiquito, pero ideal para uno que no cocina más que huevos o chuletas o cosas sencillas. Para frijoles o el que cocina 3 veces diario no se los recomiendo.
