Great price! Only problem is don’t smack something on it or screen will break easy! Had to replace the first purchase. Screen cracked by an accident! I’d suggest getting protectors for each one. They work terrific and were well worth the money! Great for traveling with kids!! A life saver! Plus they could use in the hotel! Stock up on dvds!

Last time i searched for car DVD players they were all $150+. It was great to find something for $80. Our old car DVD player had three parts, the DVD player and the two screens. This worked well when my kids were young because we could control both units from the front seat. Now that are boys are older (5 and 3) our 5 year old can control the primary unit. All I have to do is reach back to insert the DVD correctly. Not hard at all to do as long as I'm seated opposite the primary unit ( i.e. i'm in the passenger seat and the primary unit is behind the driver. This product has two units to it: The primary unit is where you insert the DVD or other media (USB, SD). The slave unit is subject to the primary unit. Units are easy to install one power cord going from regular outlet or car, to the primary unit. two cords from primary unit to slave unit. the primary unit controls volume for both units. slave unit is subject to the primary unit. If the primary is off, the slave screen won't do anything. if the primary unit is muted (volume all the way to 0) the slave unit won't have sound either. Slave unit can increase or decrease sound and can turn off screen independently. The battery is also a great feature! I think I've tested it for up to an hour of run time, with only the primary unit on, without the car plug. I did not wait for the battery to die so I have no idea how long it would last. As with all batteries i'm sure it will last shorter and shorter times. Still a nice feature I was not expecting for $80. The units are quite small. Not bulky at all compared to our old unit screens. Great picture and brightness. The volume is a little lower than my kids would like. I recommend headphones. The headphones are for my benefit and theirs :) IMPORTANT NOTE: The cord outlets are set up for the primary unit to be behind the driver seat. This arrangement worked out perfect for us because on long trips the passenger adult can help manager the primary unit. But if you were trying to help insert a dist from the driver seat, this may be difficult. If need be, there is probably enough length in the cords to stretch if you needed to revers them. our cords (the two that reach from primary unit to slave unit) reach almost to the foot well and then back up to the second unit. Cons The primary unit DVD spinning is a little loud. Most people wouldn't notice it, but when I sat in the back with the primary unit right in front of me, it was a bit annoying. The slave unit head phone jack is between the two cords coming from the primary unit. Kind of awkward for little ones to find and plug in. If the child in front of the primary unit doesn't' want to watch the show, and turns off their unit, the slave unit won't show anything either. Same with the sound as stated above.

Update: be very careful ordering from them. They sent me a used broken replacement. Waste of my time and money. Sent it back for a full refund. It’s literally junk that’s why it’s so cheap. Believe me. Giving 2 stars for now. Used for a total of maybe an hour and a half split between 2 days before the slave DVD player just quit working. Which really upset my littles and me because they were so excited about them. The screen itself is about the size of my iPhone 15 screen maybe slightly bigger but not by much which is okay because I don’t want it any bigger for the car. Overall it does what I purchased it for keeps the littles entertained while waiting in pick up line for big sis. It’s pretty simple to figure out, easy to strap to headrest, cords are a bit annoying so we’ll figure out a way to deal with that, having a remote makes it easy to use. I’ll update my rating once I receive my replacement and if it works longer than a week. Otherwise I’ll cut my losses and get a refund if it quits on me again cause based on other reviews it’s known for that. I’d recommend purchasing the warranty for this product 10/10.
