Unfortunately, my dog had an episode of zoomies AND diarrhea all over the basement carpet. We cleaned it up as best we could using dish soap, water, and Nature’s Miracle (an enzyme cleaner). It was 11:00 PM at this point and my grandson was sleeping, so I didn’t want to run the carpet cleaning machine. First thing in the morning, I used my machine with the recommended Hoover shampoo. After that, I searched Amazon for a highly recommended cleaner and found Rocco & Roxie. I ordered it along with a black light. Well, after spraying/waiting/rinsing and checking with the black light, the stains still showed. I’ve repeated the process about 6 times now and even used a soft brush the final time to gently work it in a little. IT’S STILL THERE (although, very slightly lighter). I would think with all of the product and water that has gone into the carpet, it would be gone now. Without the black light, it isn’t really noticeable, but I know it’s there and I hope it doesn’t darken over time. The black light is super helpful in determining whether the stain is really gone or not. At this point, I’m giving up and can only muster 3 stars for my review (it did lighten slightly). Good luck to everyone else, but this didn’t really work for me. Oh, by the way, try not to inhale too much of it. And, I would get the lemon scent.

We recently moved into a house where previous occupants had 10 cats. During remodel, we couldn’t help but notice scent of cat pee. We had put in new floor and subfloors, new drywall in some areas, etc but smell was still there. I bought a UV light and went on a search. I found several spots that were in hard to access areas, outside our budget to mend or in places we hadn’t planned to remodel. (Example being behind hot water heater we didn’t have funds to remove and reinstall.) Enter this spray. Followed directions and let set then wiped up to best of my ability. Again, I’m a big person and that’s a very small space. Came back next day and smell was gone! Used UV light to check effectiveness and it was gone! Fast forward several months and I’m trying to house train a new puppy. I have a big, very fluffy, bright pink rug in the nursery. The door was accidentally left open and puppy committed some crimes on that rug. Honestly thought I would just throw it away it was that bad. Enter this spray again. Cleaned up biggest part of mess, sprayed and left it to work its magic. After 30 mins, I threw my rug in the wash. (Thank heavens it’s machine washable) Stains are gone! Smell is gone! Checked my work with the UV light and there’s no evidence of the sin upon my rug. Super easy to use, just spray and come back in a short time. Has a scent according to label, but I don’t notice it. 10/10 will continue to use. It’s also worked great on getting stains out of baby’s clothes (let’s be real, babies have blow outs all the time) and has saved a few really cute outfits.

so far, so great! I used this on an old rug where I could not tell where the smell was coming from, but it lingered from our puppy. I sprayed the whole things down twice, came back the next morning and I don't smell anything bad!!! gold star. Package came in tact; no leaking. Sprayer is good nice mist or stream. Easy to use. Not sticky.

We took in a sweet German Shepherd, and she had some problems with peeing in the house. Carpet was involved. I tried shampooing and could still smell it. Today I sprayed some water lightly over the area, then sprayed this product, and let it sit for a couple hours. The odor is gone already!!! Note: When I first sprayed it, the fumes made me cough. I opened the windows, kept the pets out of the room, and set up a fan to blow the air out the window. (I didn't aim it at the carpet because I didn't want to dry it before it had a chance to work) I am so grateful for this product! I was miserable with the stink and now I can work in here again!

It works but you have to follow the instructions and be consistent with it's use. Stains and especially odors do not automatically remove with first use. Leaving it soaking overnight and longer (like days) is key. You'll go through a bottle quick, especially with cat urine but this has been the only thing that works. I do recommend
