Mizuno Organizer G3 Batpack

Great softball bag. It holds all my daughter's softball gear. She can fit her glove and other items in the large main compartment. The top zippered outer pouch she uses to put her batting gloves. The bottom zippered outer compartment has some organizing pockets inside. She puts her asthma inhaler/puffer, extra hair ties, small snacks, phone, and others. There is a zipper on the bottom of the bag to put shoes inside, but I wish it were wider because you can only put in one shoe at a time. It is difficult to put two shoes in at the same time. But my daughter never really puts her shoes in the bag. She wears her shoes to practice and games since we come straight from home. Note that there are two bat compartments on either side with a bungee elastic to tighten/secure. Then there are two mesh pockets for water bottles, one on each side, that are placed right over the bat compartments. So if you put a bat in one compartment, you will not be able to put a water bottle at the same time. My daughter has only one bat, so she puts that in one compartment. Then her water bottle goes into the mesh pocket on the other side. So with this bag, given the placement of the bat and water bottle pockets, you can only bring either two bats only no water bottle, one bat and one water bottle, or two water bottles and no bats. Color that we chose, silver, looks good.

My daughter uses this bag for volleyball and loves it. It is HUGE. Her shoes and knee pads fit easily in the bottom of the bag without compromising the inside space of the bag. She can fit everything she needs for an all day tournament in this bag...including a sizable lunch box. The side "bat" holders are ideal for water bottles. This is one spacious bag. We order the silver/black and I must say the silver is more of a gray, than silver. She didn't mind, but if you're looking for true silver, this is not. If you're concerned about the size of this bag, like I was, don't be...it's big enough!

Great kit bag for my 7 year old son's baseball season. It has lots of well thought out storage, all sized well without making the whole pack unwieldly to carry. The pack has storage on both sides for a bat, but we ended up using one of them for holding a water bottle - making it very accessible and less likely to cause spillage problems. This might be a little big for smaller kids, but it was the perfect combination of spacious storage and portability for my 7 year old. It is easy to open up fully for a thorough cleaning - and after a full season of games it looks good as new.

Sufficient number of pockets for organization without losing everything. Holds 2bats, helmet, a jacket, glove, balls, shoes without a problem. Hard to store water bottle AND bat on one side at the same time, since they share the same space at the base of the bag, but if you only carry one bat, you can store a water bottle of the other side, or put the bottles inside the bag. The hook is a little difficult for younger hands to undo from the fence. A little big for an 8 year old (she can carry it from the car to the field, but for longer distances, she needs some help). Sturdy, so I anticipate this can last through a few seasons with the amount of use it's getting now 3-4 times/week.

Great bat bag! This is my 2nd one; purchased for you younger daughter to play this year. There is a pocket for everything. Great space for helmet, mitt and ball. Separate compartment for shoes. Holds two bats well as well as a water bottle. Clip to hang on fence. This will grow with both my girls throughout their softball days. If I wasn't nearing retirement on my softball days, I'd buy one for me. Wish I had it all along!

I bought it to use for my stuff for my rec league softball games. It's perfect for my purposes. You might want a bigger bag if you want to be able to carry your shoes in the shoe pocket - it would be pretty tight if you carried much more than a glove in the main compartment with your shoes inside. I really like the organizer pocket on the front - perfect for wallet, keys, etc. The hook to hang it to the fence is plastic, but so far it seems to be plenty strong, I've only had the bag about a month though, so can't speak to durability.

I purchased this for my daughter to use for volleyball based on other reviews that were using it for the same purpose. It has several compartments with side pockets for baseball bats and I like the separate pocket for shoes. It's pretty durable so should last a long time. It is very large, and seems a little too big for what we need with volleyball and is meant for someone in baseball/softball. I gave it to someone that has a child in baseball and I will get something smaller.

I had to get this batpack for my daughter to match her other red mizuno stuff.I personally have two of the 2nd generation mizuno batpacks in royal blueand orange. they are made with great quality. her g3 fits her two glove, cleatsand helmet and has plenty of room to spare!!
