Like many inexpensive drones, this one has some one star reviews. I don't think it deserves that at all. Yes it takes some getting used to and you probably can't fly it on a windy day like a bigger drone. For about $100 I doubt you can get anything better. My included video is a little jumpy due to the wind and my lack of control skills. This was only after about 40 minutes of practice flying. I've never had it try to escape. The autoreturn is very slow and it seems to climb to the highest point it has ever been and then comes down, but it does seem to work. DO NOT fly this inside. It simply moves too fast and you are bound to hit something and break it. I know I tried.

This drone is the first one that I have bought out of 6 that has actually flown longer than 5 minutes it never crashes it's very easy to control and it's a hell of a deal for the price. you can take it half a mile and it'll come back to you while recording the whole time it's an amazing drone

My son received this for his birthday and has only flown it a few times. Twice it has lost connection when only a couple of feet away from the drone. The last time it lost connection and flew in the opposite direction and crashed, breaking off one of the arms and propellers. Very disappointed as he was excited to receive it and spent his own birthday money on it.

I had high hopes for this drone, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Yes, the drone flies and goes a decent distance, but it has major issues that make it unreliable and frustrating to use. First, the WiFi connection is terrible. While the drone can go pretty far, the WiFi range for the camera is much shorter. I lost camera access after only about a block, which defeats the purpose of using it for camera work. The drone itself didn’t disconnect in altitude, but the camera quality degraded quickly when moving around. Before buying, I saw mixed reviews and assumed the bad ones were from people who got faulty drones. I took the risk, and now I regret it. While the build quality wasn’t awful, the performance was subpar for the price. I wanted a drone specifically for camera use, and this one failed miserably. To make matters worse, on my last flight, the drone just flew away on its own—no wind, no reason. The auto-return feature worked 2-3 times before, but this time, it didn’t come back. It beeped endlessly, and I tried reconnecting through WiFi to locate it, but the WiFi connection is so unreliable that it was useless. Without a proper GPS or tracking feature, the drone is impossible to recover if it goes out of range. If you’re looking for a drone for its camera or reliability, avoid this one. It’s not worth the frustration.

While this drone is useful and fun for kids, just be aware that you will NEED to use a phone to utilize it. It works as it should so far, can be a bit twitchy, but overall good value. Very light and compact. Having multiple batteries is nice, but does take a decent amount of time to charge, so that is the biggest downside as you will use all 3 batteries and then are unable to use it again for a couple hours while you charge one battery at a time. As long as you are ok with using a phone with it and the slow and painful charging one battery at a time, then it's worth the purchase.
