a simple way to pamper yourself
Who doesn't like a nice warm towel after a shower especially in the winter and this style of towel warmer fills that niche. My only issue with this is I wish it was taller, its rather short and that makes it not as desirable in my opinion. I would recommend a good timer with this because it doesn't have a built in one.

Great addition
We love this and it’s very easy to assemble. We added a timer to it and works great. I noticed that the bottom of the rack is starting to show a bit of surface corrosion though. Otherwise this product is a great addition to our bathroom. Love it

Broke while assembling
I am returning it for a replacement. The construction seems to be plastic. When attempting to adjust the legs so they would be level, one of them broke off (see photo).

14 years and still going
Perfectly dry, warm towels, every time, for 14 years, no problems, no sharp corners, hard wired or plug in. simply the best. Bought a new one for the kids bathroom. Towels always smell fresh and greatly reduces need to launder them.

Lukewarm, not toasty warm. Don't waste your time unless you live in a cold place and don't heat your bathroom.
First off, let me start by saying I know from experience how this SHOULD work. Years ago while traveling through Europe I stayed at a small hostel that had a towel warmer in the bathroom. It was fantastic. The towels were toasty-very warm to the touch. This product does not provide anywhere near that level of warmth. While the bars of the towel warmer are very warm (not hot, despite the warning in the instructions) sometime after the warmer is turned on (it also takes too long to warm up, the instructions say up to 45 minutes), they are not spaced closely enough to warm the entire towel. The towel only feels warm to the touch in the spots where it touched the warming bars. Because the heat is only distributed over a small area of the towel (less than 10%), the overall effect is that the towel feels like it is at room temperature (for a normally heated house) or only slightly warmer than that. The instructions (and some of the reviews) tell you to "layer" the towels. Great advice, if you have more than one towel to use. Otherwise, useless. Additionally, while layering will insulate the inside towel from colder temperatures and help to heat up the inside towel(s), now you have to peel off a cold towel to get to the warm towel on the inside. Not very practical. The only way I imagine you would get a true benefit (at the cost of a raised electric bill because this product is so inefficient...btw, nowhere in the instructions does it tell you how many Watts of power this product uses) is captured in my title. If you live in a cold place, and don't heat your bathroom, then I imagine the towels would feel warm to you. Otherwise, this is not a wise purchase. My thanks to Amazon for having such an amazing return policy. Full refund. Great company.

Warm towels are important!
I purchased this towel warmer to replace one that had stopped operating correctly. This one works great. I have it on a timer to turn on about an hour before our usual shower times, and turn off about 3 hours after. This warmer is large. Two folded towels easily fit side-by-side.

Warmrails
I love the design of this towel warmer. The base is stable! I have had another Warmrails towel warmer for over 10 years. It still works perfectly.I do use my towel warmer for my bath towel. I also use it to dry bathing suits and lingerie.Good quality for a reasonable price.Fair priceI have had this towel warmer for one year. It does warm my towels. I like that it does dry my towels, bathing suits and clothes that I cannot dry in the clothes dryer. My complaint is the top rail is not tight. It should have the “arch” on this rail upwards. It just flops down. There is no way to tighten the rail. The rails are very close together. That does warm one towel more effectively. It makes it difficult to place another towel on the rack.It is stable as I previously stated in my first review.I no longer use this in my master bath. I use it for drying my lingerie, bathing suit and delicate clothes.I also use it for guests. It is too large for the guest bathroom. It does have a large footprint. That is why it stable (a definite plus). I place it in the guest bedroom or laundry room when needed for multiple bath towels, pool towels and bathing suits. The top bar is an irritant. It still warms the towels. It is stable.I have gone back to using my 13 year old Warmrails towel warmer. I prefer the design.
