Spiderman Toddler Size: 3T-4T (Red/Blue)(Discontinued by manufacturer)

Like many others who've ordered this costume, I was worried that I would receive the cheap/tacky version depicted in the third photo. Before ordering I crosschecked the ASIN and item model number with other sites just to be sure it was the one we wanted. We received the right costume and it is perfect!First, I have to say that this costume does run small (which is odd because all the accessories sold for this costume run large) and I am glad that I went with the 3T/4T even though it was purchased for a 2 year old who is not at all large for his age. He has broad shoulders but the rest of him is average or even a little below average for his age and this fit him perfectly. The colors are vivid, unlike many of the other versions I have seen in stores. All of the local stores had various versions with the full mask that has tiny eye holes (there is no way he would have kept that thing on for more than 2 minutes) and none of those had muscles. I think the muscles make the costume and the half-mask is a smart choice for toddlers. He absolutely loves this costume, I had to hide it after making sure it fit so he wouldn't try sleeping in it every night until Halloween but after Halloween I do suspect he will attempt to make this costume his new favorite pajamas.

***FYI*** The two top reviews on this product are more than 5 years old!! I'm sure they have updated the design. Quality is great!! And OMG it's so freakin cute. Looks great. Made well. Seems very durable even for my toddler. And the muscles are perfect. Fits well and with plenty of room to grow and play in with out being too big and baggy. (Don't ask me how they pulled that off!! Hahahah!! Seems like it's not possible!!) Mask is very well made/designed with an elastic back for growing room too. But the plus on the mask is that it doesn't cover the whole face and not at all an issue of falling over eyes. Eye holes well designed away from eyes and makes it so my two year old didn't immediately try to take it off as he usually does with things like that. If that makes sense. Harder to just take off and not as awkward. Had a min to be okay with it when he saw how cool he looked. Great item!!

Got this costume for my son's school Christmas party. Firstly let me give the good . My son is very particular and wouldn't wear anything that's wasn't comfortable no matter how much he liked it. So I can say with confidence that its very comfortable. The mask is made perfectly as its easy on and off for the little ones. The costume is very realistic . Now for the not so good . My son is three years and about 30 pounds and it fit perfectly so it won't fit a four year old . Before buying I looked at pictures posted and on the first use it frayed the exact same place as one of the pictures indicated. The last point is that there is no area to allow toddlers to urinate without taking off the whole suit. Overall you should buy this as it was the best and most realistic Spider-Man costume out there for boys.

Thicker in the arms and front chest area where the muscles are but thin in the back and legs so hoping it doesn't rip but it's only been tried on once so far. The mask is a little odd on the top left and right where the stitching is so it's not rounded but more square. Ordered the 3t/4t and fits perfect. Son wears 3t clothes and is average height and weighs about 31 pounds. Fit him with sweatpants and long sleeve shirt underneath but not much more room. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 since material is thin in back by Velcro and could see it ripping easily and also the odd stitching causing the mask to be square shaped on top of head.

Bought this for my 3 year old as he loves all things superhero these days. He wore it for 2 days straight (except for bath time). He even wore it to sleep. Within 3 days, there was a hole in it. In the past month we have had it, I've had to sew it to fix 3 large holes. It's very thin (typical costume material). I see a lot of repairs in our future. My son absolutely loves it tho. It's pretty much what I expected so I wouldn't say I'm dissappointed. Just wish cosutmes were made a little more sturdy! My son currently wears a size 4T and it fits perfectly. He is 38 lbs. and around 40-41" tall.

We just received this costume & love it! If you're at all in doubt about which Spiderman costume to get...we opened this after my son spotted it - in a rather bad hiding spot (a month early). My almost 4 yr old did not want to take it off. There are few strings (we just cut off). The colors are vibrant & its the cutest costume I've seen (and I shopped around & read a lot of reviews). Size-wise, he's a pretty average for his age (if not on the small side) & it fits PERFECTLY. When Halloween's over, we'll add this to our dress up bin...for a few more months use. Its definitely not super roomy - he'll grow out of this quickly...but it will serve its purpose for Halloween. It might be too small for a 4T (almost 5 yr old).

Boy, how I wish I could write a really good review of this product.First, the good. My 3-year old loves this costume! He wants it on all of the time. Also, it looks really good, with the muscles, and the good colours. The hat/mask is really easy to put on, too.Now, the bad. We have only had this product for 3 days. The stitching is horrible. I have been cutting loose strands off, constantly. The left armpit is ripped and the stitching in the back has ripped while we were putting it on. Also, the velcro has not been stitched on well and I would expect it to come off in the next few days. Another poor choice is that it is not machine-washable, or dry-cleanable, which is going to add a lot of extra work during laundry day, unless it just falls apart first.For a Marvel product, it is not the quality that I expected for the price that I paid. They needed to spend a few extra pennies on high-quality thread and a good machine with a good stitch pattern--a wave pattern will not hold up to continued use.

I bought this costume for my 3.5 year old son. It fits him well, even with a warm sweatshirt and pants underneath (since the fabric is stretchy). The quality is quite good and the colours are vibrant. The mask could be slightly bigger but it does fit. Overall, I'm happy with this product.
